BRIDGERS COMMUNITY GROUP
To work as a volunteer with the Bridgers Community Group will give you the opportunity to meet and mix with a diverse, enthusiastic, friendly, committed and convivial group of people who enjoy working together for the benefit of our local community, especially Howe Bridge.
The work we do is generally for the Environmentally aspects of village life, including creating and maintaining several local sites, creating floral displays, themed displays and general ground maintenance. We work closely with other groups within the village and also neighbouring towns Atherton & Leigh, we also work closely with Wigan MBC for the benefit of, and within our constitutional and village boundaries.
We also work closely with ALL of our elected Councillors on pastoral and social issues.
Every year we enter the North West In Bloom competition and have been very successful in this, winning a top award for many years.
